Some displays from VoxelGeo™

The latest generation of voxel based visualization software is now allowing interpretation of data volumes to be carried out in a truly 3D way.  Interpretation of subtle geological features and correlation of multiphase structural trends can be accomplished very quickly and accurately.

Confidentiality restrictions prevent me from showing any of my project examples. Paradigm have very generously provided the following images from some of their similar work in Indonesia. Here the 3D propagator allows a sinuous channel to be accurately mapped. Once mapped, the channel's internal architecture can be imaged by a formation sculpt.

A snapshot from Paradigm's VoxelGeo™ illustrating a seismic volume from Indonesia. A horizon is tracked using the 3D Propagator along a reflector with high lateral amplitude variation.
